TOP 25 BEST SELLING BLADES OF 2017: #5 Zero Tolerance 0850
Presented by KnifeCenter.com
The ZT 0850 brought together Todd Rexford, Dmitry Sinkevich, and Zero Tolerance, three of the biggest names in knife making today. This is a knife that only the combined forces of Rexford and Sinkevich could dream up, and no one but Zero Tolerance could actualize.
The ZT 0850 features some of the most idiosyncratic details in the entire ZT catalog. The oversized steel pivot matches the aluminum backspacer and thumbstud, all shaped to evoke the six-chambered cylinder of a revolver. The handle scales, milled from a unique carbon fiber composite that reflects a deep blue hue in the right lighting, are lightweight, strong, and rigid.
The 3.75-inch CPM 20CV blade locks into position using ZT’s patented Sub-Frame Lock, made of titanium with a steel lockbar insert for added strength. Zero Tolerance went so far as to shroud the lockbar from an overzealous grip by shielding it with a tab integrated into the carbon fiber scale. It’s an adventurous design even when measured against custom knives, and ZT has executed it with precision.

ABOUT THE COUNTDOWN
The TOP 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017 is based on a ranking of year-to-date dollar sales per day of all non-kitchen cutlery at KnifeCenter.com. The Virginia-based dealer stocks the largest catalog of cutlery in the world and serves the most diverse customer base of any knife retailer.
We chose to remove knives available only at KnifeCenter.com from consideration. KnifeCenter.com Exclusives that would have otherwise made the list include:
the HAP40 Spyderco Delica in Mahogany Pakkawood
the HAP40 Spyderco Endura in Mahogany Pakkawood
the s35vn Orange Southard Positron
the s35vn Tanto Andre De Villiers Beast Flipper
the KnifeCenter.com Svord Peasant Knife Exclusives
Certain knives available for pre-order, namely the ZT 0055, Benchmade 87, and DPx HEST/F Urban were also purposefully excluded even though based on pre-orders it’s clear they are among the year’s most popular.
