CRKT “Poised to Grow”: Changes at the Top Announced

CRKT just announced two major changes to its executive leadership. Rod Bremer, Founder and President for the past 21 years, is moving into the role of CRKT’s Chairman of the Board. Mark Schreiber, formerly a CRKT Executive Vice President, has been promoted to President.

Bremer has guided the company from its infancy to one of the top knife brands in the country. Howard Korn, Founder and Owner of KnifeCenter, remembers Bremer from the early days of CRKT. “I know Rod and have been following his business from the beginning .. CRKT began at about the same time we did.”

“He has been one of the most creative forces in the industry”

“Rod is a pioneer of the modern knife industry,” Korn says. “He was the first to feature custom knife makers on a large scale as designers for production knives. He has been one of the most creative forces in the industry having brought on fantastic visionaries with products like the KISS knives by Ed Halligan and the Carson Flippers by Kit Carson.”

Rod Bremer will continue to represent CRKT at all the major trade shows and will lead the Board of Directors at CRKT as Chairman.  The day-to-day management of the company and overall vision are now in Mark Schreiber’s hands. “Mark’s leadership and track record are just what CRKT needs to march to the next level. With his clear vision and strategic thinking, CRKT is clearly prepared to become a dominant brand in the space,” said Bremer.
