The Autonomy 2 is still in the prototype stage, but for those looking for a dependable, utilitarian automatic knife designed to be used with even the most cumbersome gloves (firefighters, astronauts, welders, etc) the Autonomy 2 will present an interesting option. Unlike the original Autonomy which has prominent finger grooves on the handle and a serrated ‘rescue’ blade, the Autonomy 2 offers a more neutral grip and general-purpose drop point blade. They both share the same mechanism and prominent firing button.
