KnivesShipFree Doubles Reward Points on All Orders for the Holiday Weekend

Presented by: KnivesShipFree

Memorial Day is upon us, which means a nice long weekend for most – and also special sales and offers from dealers across the country. KnivesShipFree is putting a pair of cool knives on discount, and also offering double reward points on all purchases throughout the weekend.

Shun Premier Vegetable Knife and Kershaw Launch 13

High quality kitchen cutlery is a trending topic in the knife community these days, but its a category KSF has been passionate about for years. Whenever they run a promotion, there’s usually a culinary knife in the mix, and for Memorial Day weekend they’re offering this Shun Premier Vegetable knife at more than half off. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: if all you’ve ever used in the kitchen are big box stores knives, once you try a real piece of culinary cutlery, you’ll never go back.

On a less steep, but no less appealing discount, is Kershaw’s Launch 13, a single action automatic knife with a 3.5-inch wharncliffe blade. The Launch series has a style and size for all users and seasons, but the 13 always stood out; it looks like the knife H.R. Geiger’s Xenomorph would carry if it got into EDC. It’s a great entry point into one of the best series in the voluminous Kershaw lineup.

Double Points All Weekend

As mentioned above, KSF is offering double reward points all weekend, on any purchase. That means 16 points for every 10 dollars spent; every 100 points can be redeemed for a dollar of store credit. The points stack up real quick, so if you’ve been waiting for a good time to get something off your wishlist, you should act now. If you want a few recommendations we’ve gone off the beaten path a bit for our trio of picks.

Murray Carter Muteki Perfect

You can consider this a recommendation for any Carter Cutlery knife. Murray Carter has been making his Japanese-inflected fixed blade designs for many years, but even as the knife world has grown, Carter’s work stands apart as something special. The Muteki series pieces are made by journeyman bladesmith’s under Carter’s tutelage, and we love this particular take on his Perfect fixed blade design.

Case Tony Bose Tribal Lock

Traditionals are very in right now, and W.R. Case has been doing traditionals for a very long time. We like the Tribal Lock a lot: it’s an amazing design from the late, great Tony Bose, equally likeable as a daily carry or a collectible. An underrated release for sure.

Casstrom Lars Falt Scandi Lockback

Located in Lapland, Finland, Casstrom makes beautiful, traditional Scandinavian outdoor knives. This collaboration with master bushcrafter Lars Falt impressed enough people at Blade Show 2019 to take home the Best Collaboration award. We don’t say this very often, but the Lars Falt really is like nothing else out there, and while it’s not cheap, the quality and character can’t be beat.

KSF’s sales and double reward points will be going on all the holiday weekend, through Monday.
