KSF Kicks off Black Friday Spectacular with Steep Sales on Folders, Fixed Blades, & More

Sponsored by: KnivesShipFree

[UPDATED 11/29/24] Added additional deals that went live today!

The Black Friday deals have kicked off over at KnivesShipFree. The shop threw out a set early bird deals prior to Turkey Day, and a second round of discounts today, with more planned to release all weekend, right on through Cyber Monday. Here are some of the choicest KSF deals available right now.

Friday Deals

Kershaw Federalist

Here’s a one of the steepest price cuts for KSF’s Black Friday: Kershaw’s 2022, US-made slipjoint, the Federalist. The company broke new ground when this one dropped, and for just $70 (that’s 50 dollars off the regular price), this CPM-154, modern slipjoint workhorse can be yours.

Spyderco Models up to 30% Off

Spyderco is a company that maintains rigorous control over its pricing, so whenever there is a sale it’s worth sitting up and paying attention. Starting today, KSF has more than 60 Spydie knives with special Black Friday discounts, so there’s something to suit every taste.

One of the hottest of Spyderco’s collaboration models, the Smock, is on special. A production replica of the Kevin Smock custom of the same name, this was a hit for a reason, and is now obtainable for less than $200.

Another fan favorite, the Spyderco Sage 5 with Compression Lock, is on special too. The Sage series has long been a choice line amongst the Spyderco cognoscenti, as much for the high level of design refinement as for the fact that the series is a tribute to different folder locks.

Finally, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that multiple flavors of the Military 2 can be snagged for less as well. Spyderco debuted this sequel in 2022, bringing the Military’s mechanics and profile in line with its newer spinoff, the Para Military 2 – including the implementation of the Compression Lock. One of the discounted varieties comes with S110V steel – that’s quite a lot of knife for the price.

Gold Class Mini Osborne

Benchmade’s Gold Class pieces are highly limited and highly collectible – which means they come with a hefty price tag attached. Every once in a while, a Gold Class piece will get an extra discount during the holidays or some other signal event, and such is the case here. The Gold Class Mini Osborne, complete with rococo scales and Damasteel blade, has had a $200 price drop – probably the lowest it will ever go on the primary market.

Early Bird Deals

ZT0308

The 0308 is a sequel to the ZT0300, one of the most famous folders the company ever made, one that defined the ZT knife archetype for many years: high-end materials, ambitious machining details, and an overbuilt, heavy duty design.

Zero Tolerance has since refined and expanded its output, with a more diverse portfolio in 2024 than ever before, but the 0308 is a tribute to those early days, itself expanded and refined by what the company has learned over the years – and as we speak, it’s more than $100 off the typical MSRP! If you need a workhorse folder for the new year, look no further.

Bark River Bravo 1

Speaking of workhorses, KSF is currently running a holiday discount on the Bark River Knives Bravo 1. This could be argued to be the flagship design in the fixed blade specialists’ teeming lineup; by any metric, it is an embodiment of rock-solid outdoors performance.

This batch of Bravo 1s are made from A2, a high performance tool steel that has been a longtime favorite at BRK. Getting a Bravo 1 in A2 is the equivalent of picking up the Buck 110 with 420HC, or the Delica in VG-10 – almost a right of passage for an enthusiast. Get yours at a lower price right now, and use it forever.

Bamba Forge Knives

If you’re looking for a custom, forged knife unlike anything else on the market, we’d point you towards Bamba Forge. These knives are made in Bamba, a village north of Kampala, Uganda. Thanks to a partnership between Tim Troyer and Ugandan professor Moses Tenywa, Bamba Forge was founded as a place of learning and employment for at-risk men in the village.

Each of these knives are made by hand by budding craftsmen, and each one is unique. Right now, there are pieces on sale for under $100 – and every penny goes back to supporting the Forge itself.

Limited Run S30V Wharncliffe Delica

If you haven’t tried the wharncliffe variant of Spyderco’s famous flagship, you’re definitely missing out. It originated as a drawing from a forum superfan, daydreaming about their ideal version of the enduring EDC classic – and now it has been a full-on production piece for several years, and has even received limited editions like this one. It comes with a custom scale color, and S30V steel – for less than $100. It may become a collectible someday, but regardless it is already a proven user.

American Tomahawk Model 1

Have enough knives to tide you over till next year? How about a tomahawk instead? American Tomahawk, a project co-founded by key RMJ Tactical personnel including Ryan Johnson himself, is all about doing justice to this particular tool.

The Model 1, discounted for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday madness, is a classic take on the tomahawk format by these historically conscious designers. Compact yet still robust, this is a tool that can become a trusted outdoors companion for many years to come.

Like we said, this is just the beginning of KSF’s Black Friday offerings. More deals will come on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Cyber Monday.
