Paul Munko Looks to the Stars Once Again

Paul Munko is back with a new for 2025 knife release through Bestech. It’s called the Constellation, and it’s built with a tanto blade – the first we’ve seen from Munko.

Since he stepped on the since just a few years ago, Munko has been honing a style all his own with a series of production collabs, each one distinct, but all clearly coming from the same creative source. Munko has also played with different knife sizes and thus altered the use category appropriately; with the Constellation, it looks as if he is returning to the tried and true everyday carry category, albeit with a tanto twist.

Measuring 3.055 inches long, the Constellation offers a familiar and versatile amount of cutting edge for a daily carry. We’d call the tanto blade here an American-style tanto, albeit somewhat “softened;” the tell-tale hard line between primary and secondary edges is less pronounced here, and actually the main edge is ever so slightly curved as well – so the slicing capability on this particular tanto should be heightened over the standard issue.

There’s a sculpted titanium pocket clip in tow

The blade steel on the Constellation is MagnaCut, which should indicate that this is a premium Bestech piece – a surmise proven true by a glance at the handle materials. Munko has endowed the Constellation with his preferred titanium frame bolster look,  and the scales beneath the bolster element come in several tantalizing flavors including a nicely patterned black G-10. The pocket clip is made from sculpted titanium, and in total the Constellation weighs 2.58 oz.

Best of all, it’s available now.
