TOP 25 BEST SELLING BLADES OF 2017: #20 Gerber Center-Drive
Presented by KnifeCenter.com
Gerber’s latest full-size multi-tool hit the market with authority in late 2016. Boasting several distinctive features, the Center-Drive was designed to overcome some of the compromises that multi-tool owners often have to make.
The Center-Drive gets its name from an innovative long bit driver that curves to align with the center of the multi-tool. Instead of stubby or proprietary bit drivers, the magnetic driver arm is made to work with generic bits. The result is a tool that acts and feels much more like a dedicated screwdriver.
Gerber outfitted the Center-Drive with a sizable 3.25-inch locking blade accessible from the outside of the tool. A set of one-handed, sliding, spring-loaded pliers, rounds out the package.
Made in the USA and offered at a competitive price, it’s easy to see why the Center-Drive has been a best-seller in 2017.
Visit KnifeNews tomorrow to find out which model is #19 on our countdown of the Top 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017.
ABOUT THE COUNTDOWN
The TOP 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017 is based on a ranking of year-to-date dollar sales per day of all non-kitchen cutlery at KnifeCenter.com. The Virginia-based dealer stocks the largest catalog of cutlery in the world and serves the most diverse customer base of any knife retailer.
We chose to remove knives available only at KnifeCenter.com from consideration. KnifeCenter.com Exclusives that would have otherwise made the list include:
the HAP40 Spyderco Delica in Mahogany Pakkawood
the HAP40 Spyderco Endura in Mahogany Pakkawood
the s35vn Orange Southard Positron
the s35vn Tanto Andre De Villiers Beast Flipper
the KnifeCenter.com Svord Peasant Knife Exclusives
Certain knives available for pre-order, namely the ZT 0055, Benchmade 87, and DPx HEST/F Urban were also purposefully excluded even though based on pre-orders it’s clear they are among the year’s most popular.
