Spyderco’s 20th Product Reveal Arrives in Time for SHOT Show

Those crazy kids at Spyderco are the latest to throw their hat into the 2026 new stuff ring with volume 20 of their Product Reveals. A new version of a longtime favorite leads the charge  here, followed by other interesting stuff.

Para Military 2 Lightweight

This one has been a long time coming. The famous Para Military 2 model joins its little brother, the Para 3, in receiving a lightweight incarnation. The FRN scales take the weight down to 2.8oz., and the blade steel on the basic model is CTSBD1.

Left-Hand Military

Another long-anticipated addition sees the Military 2 rolling out with a left-handed variant. A model as famous as the Mil 2 attracts users of both dexterities so it is not surprise, but a welcome addition, to see the left-hand version drop at last.

Charisma

The new Para Military 2 is lightweight, but the Eric Glesser-designed Charisma is really really lightweight. A no-frills user with a 2.95-inch blade, this back lock model tips the scales at a scanty .8 oz.!

UKPK Salt

United Kingdom Pen Knife gets a much deserved seaside vacation with a new Salt varietal, this time eschewing the FRN for G-10 scales, and rocking a CPM MagnaCut blade for high performance in and out of the water. Probably goes without saying but the UKPK is, of course, a slipjoint.

REX 121 Sage 6 and Chaparral

It’s not a Spydie product reveal without the implementation of some rare, high-performance steels. Thus, we see two refined EDC pieces, the Sage 6 and the Chaparral, outfitted with REX 121, a true beast of a tool steel with extremely high edge retention.

Retract

You can always recognize an Ed Schempp design at a glance. The Retract exhibits all the ergonomics-focused characteristics of Schempp’s work in a fairly large format – this thing has a 3.4-inch blade!

Sprint Run Roundup

Over on the Sprint Run side of the catalog, we’re looking at two new 15V models joining the Native Chief Lightweight, which was originally revealed last October. The Lil’ Native Lightweight is one of the models, while the Para Military 2 Lightweight, introduced in this self-same reveal, is the other. There is also a limited re-release of the cult classic Meerkat en route, with MicroMelt PD1 steel in tow.
