TOP 25 BEST SELLING BLADES OF 2017: #1 Spyderco Para 3
Presented by KnifeCenter.com
Ever since Spyderco confirmed that they were working on a smaller version of their uber-popular Paramilitary 2, the hype for what would become the Para 3 was potent. The combination of the PM2’s beloved design – the strong yet precise blade, compression lock, and great ergonomics – with a smaller, more pocket-friendly form factor, was enough to feed anticipation for years. And when the Para 3 finally did arrive, it delivered on its promise. It’s everything you love about the Paramilitary 2, just smaller. Yet, the Para 3 isn’t simply a scaled-down PM2. Spyderco made some subtle and thoughtful design tweaks to adapt the handle and blade for its smaller scale.
Once the Para 3 made it into production, Spyderco wasted no time in rolling out the variations. The current menu of Para 3s include a fully serrated, partially serrated, blacked-out, digicam, and a Blurple G10 in S110V version. Variations available for pre-order include a Gray G10 and Cru-Wear, Dark Gray G10 and Maxamet, and Carbon Fiber and S90V sprint runs of the best selling blade.
This concludes the Top 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017 countdown. Be sure to check the KnifeNews Facebook and Instagram page early this coming week – we’ll be giving away one of these awesome, best-selling blades!
ABOUT THE COUNTDOWN
The TOP 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017 is based on a ranking of year-to-date dollar sales per day of all non-kitchen cutlery at KnifeCenter.com. The Virginia-based dealer stocks the largest catalog of cutlery in the world and serves the most diverse customer base of any knife retailer.
We chose to remove knives available only at KnifeCenter.com from consideration. KnifeCenter.com Exclusives that would have otherwise made the list include:
the HAP40 Spyderco Delica in Mahogany Pakkawood
the HAP40 Spyderco Endura in Mahogany Pakkawood
the s35vn Orange Southard Positron
the s35vn Tanto Andre De Villiers Beast Flipper
the KnifeCenter.com Svord Peasant Knife Exclusives
Certain knives available for pre-order, namely the ZT 0055, Benchmade 87, and DPx HEST/F Urban were also purposefully excluded even though based on pre-orders it’s clear they are among the year’s most popular.
