We Knife Co. Readies Next Wave of Limited Edition Knives

We Knife Co. is fixing to drop a new limited edition knife in the near future. The Nexusia comes with a striking design elevated with all the expected bells and whistles on the material side of things.

A biggish, organic drop point is on offer on the Nexusia, which is an in-house design. At 3.48-inches it’s not a huge blade, but the wide profile and stylized, XL fuller give it a larger presence than the bare dimensions would indicate. As is often the case with limited edition knives, we don’t think many of these bad boys will be pressed into any ongoing use; but the Nexusia certainly would make a capable everyday carry if any owner is so inclined. The flipper works on ceramic ball bearings of course, and has an ergonomic forward finger choil underneath the cutting edge – it should also help with sharpening, making it easier to get all the way to the bottom of the edge.

The sculpted titanium clip is not reversible

Speaking of sharpening, you won’t have to do it too much, because the Nexusia’s blade is made from CPM-20CV. Anybody interested in high end limited edition knives knows aboutCPM-20CV, a trusted name in the super steel category. CPM-20CV is a stainless with an even-handed mixture of edge retention and toughness. There’s also a Damasteel version slated for release, made from the Heimskringla pattern, and another model with a black coated blade.

The Nexusia’s all-titanium handle doesn’t hold any surprises in terms of its profile; there’s a finger groove, a guard, and an arching main section with wide crescent chamfers across its length. The show side scale has ten stepped holes milled into it, the off-side (which also houses the titanium frame lock) three. The 4.42 oz. Nexusia comes with a non-reversible sculpted titanium pocket clip.

Most versions of the Nexusia will be limited to 155 pieces. The flamed handle model consists of 150 pieces, and the Damasteel version just 100 pieces. All knives come with a serial number and certificate of authenticity.
