Vosteed Adds Litter of Corgi Pups to 2024 Catalog

Vosteed Cutlery has expanded a recent model line, the Corgi, with a new Corgi Pup variant. Smaller than the original Corgi, the Pup keeps the symmetrical design while amping up the pocketability and cuteness.

If you didn’t see the original Vosteed Corgi when it dropped last July, here’s a quick recap: it’s an EDC design built around the Trek Lock, a button lock-style mechanism, and it opens with either a front or rear flipper; in keeping with the rest of the Corgi’s symmetrical design, both flippers were done in an inline style, so neither protrudes and disrupts the streamlined profile. All of this adds up to a knife with a style very distinct from previous Vosteed releases, but with the same utility-driven ethos at its core.

And all of that is carried forward onto the Pup. The original was by no means a massive knife, with a blade length just under 3 inches; the Pup shrinks that number down to 2.37 inches. The change is significant, but the role is the same: the Corgi Pup is also an everyday carry folder, with the same versatile drop point blade and reliable 14C28N stainless steel blade. The edge holding will be admirable for the price point and stain resistance quite high – an often underrated, but important, quality for a daily carry knife.

It is also very much business as usual on the handle side of the Pup, with an oblong profile that is, yes, the “S word” (‘symmetrical,’ get your mind out of the gutter). The Pup, as befits a knife of its adorable specifications, comes in a variety of colors including blue, purple, orange, and even an appropriately Valentine’s-y white spotted pink config. If you want to move upmarket a bit there’s a PEI (think Ultem) handl model with an S35VN blade.
